Director Taichi Kimura, who lives in London and is active on the world stage, will express this secret in a never-before-seen documentary film.
Sasue Maeda Fish Shop prepares dishes to suit your taste. Even Michelin-starred chefs from overseas are lining up to try out the genius Mr. Maeda's fish.
The ``Sasue Family'' is a team of chefs who run a restaurant that does not take reservations and serves wonderful cuisine with a lively feel that can only be provided locally. Someday, I will go from Shizuoka/Yaizu to San Sebastian. A collaboration dinner for two nights only by chefs with such passionate dreams. You can fully enjoy the craftsmanship.
In addition, treasured wines made at a convent in Cannes, Shizuoka's sister city, will also be featured. In addition to the special wines offered at the Cannes Film Festival, please enjoy pairings with Vinos Yamazaki.

Naoki Maeda (Naoki Maeda)
Born in Shizuoka Prefecture in 1974 . The fifth generation of Sasue Maeda Uoten.
During his time at Shizuoka Prefectural Yaizu Fisheries High School, he worked part-time jobs related to fish, including as an auction recorder. After graduating from high school, he joined a store and started working in earnest. The restaurant has attracted the attention of Tetsuya Wakuda from Shizuoka, has been involved with Masahiro Yoshitake of Sushi Yoshitake, and has received inquiries from many chefs, including Michelin chefs from overseas.
The fish is prepared by Sasue Maeda Uoten, and top-class chefs attract people from Japan and abroad to Shizuoka, with the live feeling of fish that can only be expressed locally.

Born in Tokyo in 1987. At the age of 12, he moved to England alone with the aim of becoming a film director. They started their activities based in London, and in 2015, they were nominated for BEST DANCE VIDEO at the UK's biggest music video award, "UKMVA", for the music video for GRADES "KING". He has worked on music videos and documentaries for numerous artists in Japan and the UK, including The Chemical Brothers, CHASE & STATUS, ELLEGARDEN, and KING GNU. In 2023, the feature film “AFTERGLOWS” will be released.

You can sample and compare dashi soups, which can be said to be the basis of Japanese cuisine, visit sightseeing spots (by bus) in conjunction with Mt. Fuji Day, and appreciate craft techniques passed down from ancient times in Shizuoka, the home of the Tokugawa family.

It was during the Edo period that craftsmen and craftsmen from all over the country gathered in Shizuoka, which Tokugawa Ieyasu chose as his retirement location, and crafts blossomed. It is a workshop where you can experience traditional crafts that have been passed down from generation to generation. The location is Maruko-juku (post town), which is also famous for the 53 stations of the Tokaido.
