[KOMERU Project: Enjoy the charm of Yaizu, Shizuoka to the fullest]
A two-day event has been launched to allow you to experience the best of Yaizu, Shizuoka!
This is a one-of-a-kind tour that can only be organized by KOMERU, featuring Mount Fuji seen across the sea from Yaizu, the bountiful seafood of Suruga Bay, and the artisanal skills on display.

HIGHLIGHTS

Yaizu fish shop "Sasue Maeda Fish Shop." Michelin chefs from all over the world visit in search of its techniques. Why?
This secret will be revealed in never-before-seen documentary footage directed by Taichi Kimura.

At Sasue Maeda Fish Shop, Mr. Maeda's fish is tailored to match the cuisine. The "Sasue Family," which uses his fish, is a two-night collaboration dinner featuring chefs from restaurants that are often booked out. Guests will be able to fully enjoy the chefs' skills. Furthermore, there will be a special wine, made in a monastery in Cannes, Shizuoka's sister city, that can only be tasted at the Cannes Film Festival. This is a special event where you can enjoy both food and art. This event has been carefully planned over the course of a year, so please come and join us.

〈 Experience 〉
Yaizu, Shizuoka is known as the town of dried bonito flakes. You can enjoy a dashi tasting, which is the basis of Japanese cuisine, a tour of tourist spots (by bus) in connection with Mount Fuji Day, and appreciate the traditional craftsmanship that has been passed down since ancient times in Shizuoka, the home of the Tokugawa clan.
