【KOMERU Project〜Tempula Naruse】
Nowadays, “Tempura Naruse” is visited by gourmands from all over the world. This special event is derived from last year's Yaizu Shizuoka KOMERU Gourmet & Art Tours. KOMERU TOURS private dinner tour with 8 platinum seats at the counter.
<Sasue Maeda Fish Store>
Naoki Maeda was born in Shizuoka Prefecture in 1974. He is the fifth generation owner of Sasue Maeda Fish Restaurant.
While attending Yaizu Fisheries High School in Shizuoka Prefecture, he worked part-time as a recorder at fish auctions. After graduating from high school, he joined the restaurant and began working in earnest. He has received inquiries from many chefs, including Michelin-starred chefs overseas.
<Tempura Naruse>
Tempura Naruse ,Owner Takeo Shimura was born in 1975 in Kanagawa. He was struck by the excellence of local ingredients at a kappo restaurant in Yaizu, Shizuoka, and opened Tempura Naruse in 2007, and moved to the current location in March 2021. In March 2021, the restaurant moved to its current location. Food lovers from all over Japan visit the restaurant to enjoy the tempura made with fish from the Sasue Maeda Fish Restaurant.
〈 Experience HIGHLIGHTS〉
Screening of the short film “FISHMONGER
View the documentary “FISHMONGER” produced by RICE ENTERATINMENTS, filmed in 2023. Director: Taichi Kimura, Producer: MEGUMI.
This film was invited to Yamagata International Film Festival. Michelin chefs from all over the world visit Sasue Maeda Fish Store, a fish shop in Yaizu, in search of their skills. Why? Director Taichi Kimura, who lives in London and is active on the world stage, presents this secret in an unprecedented documentary film.
Sasue Maeda Fish Restaurant prepares fish to suit the cuisine. The genius Mr. Maeda's fish attracts a line of Michelin chefs from abroad who want to handle his fish. Visitors can learn about his obsession with fish and the richness of Shizuoka's natural environment. Another highlight of the event is the exquisite interaction between Mr. Maeda and Mr. Shimura.

October 20 (Sun) Dinner
17:10|Gather at the cab stand at the north exit of Shizuoka Station
(If coming from Tokyo, take the Hikari 519 train arriving at Shizuoka Station at 17:02.
If you are coming from Shin-Osaka, please take the Hikari No. 512 arriving at Shizuoka Station at 16:37)
17:15|Take a private cab to Tempura Narusei
17:40|After arrival, a short film will be shown.
18:00|Dinner
21:00|Take a cab to Shizuoka Station and dismissal
Tour fee 72,000 yen per person (tax included)

Transportation to and from Shizuoka Station is at your own expense.
